Goodfellow Earns 87 Percent of Delegate Votes at Pre-Endorsement Conference
Redlands, CA – At the pre-endorsement conference for the California Democratic Party this weekend, Kris Goodfellow’s campaign received overwhelming support from Democratic Party Delegates in the 23rd State Senate District. Goodfellow earned 87 percent of the vote, securing the California Democratic Party’s (CDP) pre-endorsement. Goodfellow will now be automatically placed on the consent calendar at the November CDP Convention.The CDP endorsement clearly asserts Goodfellow’s status as the Democratic front runner for the 23rd District. In addition to today’s endorsement, Goodfellow’s campaign has continued to build tremendous momentum.
Status of the Race: Goodfellow has raised more to date than any candidate in the 23rd District race and has continued to rack up notable endorsements, which include: Senator Connie Leyva, State Controller Betty Yee, SEIU California and local leaders throughout the Inland Empire.
“I’m honored to receive the support of the California Democratic Party and its entrusted leaders. Delegates in the 23rd District couldn’t have made their choice more clear,” commented Goodfellow.
