“This is our chance to make a change! Let's not miss this moment!”

- Kris Goodfellow

Hi, my name is Kris Goodfellow and I am running to be your next state senator in Senate District 23. I’ve lived in Redlands for nearly two decades. It’s where I met my husband Brian and it’s where my son took his first steps. Together, Brian and I run a small business in the technology industry.

Previously, I had a 25-year career as a journalist. With the help of scholarships, loans and three jobs, I received my degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Within a short time, I worked my way up to the Chicago Tribune and then the New York Times, and by the age of 28, I became the youngest person to run the graphics department at the Associated Press.

As a mother, a journalist, an IT professional, and a small business owner, I will bring my skills and talents to fight for good paying clean-energy jobs for our region and for the strategic investment in our education system. I will be the strong voice that our Inland community deserves.
