Redlands, CA – The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) California has thrown their support behind Kris Goodfellow in the race for California's 23rd State Senate District. SEIU California's endorsement follows Goodfellow recently earning the support of one of California's most notable labor leaders, State Senator Connie Leyva, Leyva was the first woman elected to serve as president of the California State Labor Federation.
Commenting on SEIU California's endorsement, Goodfellow stated:"I'm honored to have the support of an organization that's leading the fight to tackle income inequality, make healthcare more affordable and that protects the fundamental
rights of workers. I look forward to working with SEIU California to bring economic justice and quality jobs to the Inland Empire."

SEIU local unions in California are made up of over 700,000 nurses, healthcare workers, janitors, social workers, security officers, in-home caregivers, school and university employees, court workers, and city, county and state employees.
