Labor Groups Support Goodfellow For State Senate

I am honored to carry endorsements from labor groups, including SEIU, AFSCME, the Inland Empire Labor Council and UDW.

Unions empower hard working Americans who are not executives or company owners to improve their own safety, ensure humane employment conditions, secure a living wage and secure the ability to retire.

I will work shoulder to shoulder with all of my constituents to achieve these standards. Our economy is stronger when all working families are able to be part of a strong middle class and beyond.

A proud union member may be knocking on your door over the next 40 days to talk to you about the importance of winning in the March 3 primary.

Please join me and the members of these unions in working for workers throughout District 23. We need you. Volunteers are making calls, knocking on doors and donating funding for this campaign.

Donations today will support the fight for our environment, access to quality education and a thriving Inland economy. We cannot squander the opportunity to prosper in these areas.

Many people are working hard, but we still need resources for getting the word out. Please give today.

Together we can lift up hard working families to bring a better future for all of us.

Thank you for your support,

Unions fought for—and work to strengthen—many of the humane standards and norms that protect and uplift Americans today. These essential laws and programs include Social Security, child labor laws, antidiscrimination laws, health and safety laws, Unemployment Insurance, compensation for workers who get hurt on the job, the 40-hour workweek, and the federal minimum wage. Unions were a major force behind all the Great Society laws on discrimination, housing, and voting rights” -- Economic Policy Institute
